About Us

OurBeginning

It was thirty-one years ago that the Manoahs started a small painting contractor business. They grew this small business into NRI Construction, a full-service provider of renovation and restoration services. They focused on supporting property owners, asset managers, and management professionals.

In 2008, the Manoahs sold NRI to a private equity firm, signed a 5-year non-compete and exited the business. Then, they focused on other ventures, patiently waiting before entering the full-service renovation business once more.

OurPresent Our Future

In 2013, having honored the non-compete, the Manoahs started The Renovation Specialists. This is a full-service renovation and restoration services business setting the same goals and following the same principles as NRI construction. Having maintained strong previous client relations, The Renovation Specialists exist to provide the same quality assured services to property owners, asset managers, and management professionals.

Our future is our children. After finishing school and working part-time with the business, the kids joined us full time and we expanded our scope. Having the experience of many generations behind our work makes us better able to achieve our on-going goal of providing the best work at a lower price.
